When will the center reopen? Our center will reopen in Fall 2021. We do not have a set date yet, but we are hoping to be open for childcare in November.

What ages do we serve? We serve prenatal to 18 months. Moms who are pregnant are welcome to fill out an application and get on our waitlist. Infants must be at least 6 weeks old before they can begin daily care.

What are the hours for childcare? Our center will be open 8:00am -4:15pm, Monday- Friday. We will follow the general LISD academic calendar and rulings for most holidays, school closings/openings, and weather related closures.

How many children can you serve? For the 2021-2022 school year, we will be able to serve 4 infants. We plan to open additional childcare spots for the 2022-2023 school year.

How much does childcare cost? We believe all families should have access to affordable quality childcare and that all teen parents should be provided with the resources they need in order to achieve their educational goals. Our childcare services are free to families with at least one teen parent enrolled in high school. Families with at least one teen parent who has graduated from high school and is attending college or vocational school are eligible for childcare at a discounted tuition rate.

Are there any qualifications for enrollment? Our only qualification is that the child’s parent(s) is/are continuing their education. This can include middle school, high school, college, or vocational school. We want to see our young parents finishing high school and accomplishing their educational goals.
