The future home of ACTS of Love Early Childhood Education Center
WE ARE MOVING!
This fall, ACTS of Love Early Childhood Education Center will reopen in a new facility provided by Leander Independent School District. For the past six years, we have shared a space with ACTS Church Leander. While we are thankful for the time we spent at ACTS Church Leander, we are very excited to have a space to call our own. The facility that Leander ISD is providing us will be walking distance from one of the high schools we serve and offers more space, allowing us to serve more families each school year. After being closed for over a year and a half, we are so thankful to have the opportunity to reopen our childcare center and expand our program.

HELP FURNISH OUR NEW SPACE
Our new facility is in need of a few new items to make the space meet our needs. We are looking for a desk, locking file cabinets, shelving units, a standard size table and chairs (think break room/ meeting space), and a small (not mini) refrigerator. If you are able to donate any of these items, new or gently used, we would greatly appreciate your support! Please send an email to office@actsofloveecec.com to make donation arrangements.

Meet our new Early Childhood Director
As we began planning for the reopening and growth of the ACTS of Love program, we knew that we needed to add more full time staff to help make our dreams a reality. After six years of operations, ACTS of Love has grown in incredible ways. However, running the childcare center and leading the program, was becoming too much responsibility for one Director. We have added a new position, Early Childhood Director, to oversee all the daily operations at the center. Her focus is ensuring the staff and children are taken care of on a daily basis. This will allow our current Director to move into an Executive Director role, and focus on program development, fundraising, and community presence. You can read all about our new staff roles on our Staff Page.

Our new facility is in need of some exterior and interior renovations before we are able to move in. Construction is underway and should be completed by October 2021. We are already accepting applications for childcare and hiring center staff.
